We believe in the strength of teams. All throughout the Bible, we see models of teamwork: Moses, Jesus and many apostles developed teams around their missions. At King's Arms, we have developed these six teams to work in and oversee all areas of our church life. These teams are overseen by the church elders.
CONTACTING THE RIGHT TEAM…
The church elders are responsible for the oversight of the church. Their primary roles are to set biblical vision and direction whilst seeking to release the church to fulfill its unique purposes in God. Our desire is for every member to learn and grow in loving God, loving the church, loving the "city" and loving the nations.
Led by Steve Wilson
The Impact Team is responsible for how King’s Arms reaches out into the community as well as all guest events and courses including support of our work with the homeless and disadvantaged through King’s Arms Project. We have a desire to see the church equipped and inspired to make a difference to those who are far from God.
Led by Sue Smith
The Connect Team oversees everything to do with our Sunday meetings. We aim to have excellent Sundays where God is glorified and worshipped, Christians are envisioned and strengthened, those who don't yet follow Christ hear a clear presentation of the gospel and everyone receives a warm welcome and encounters the presence of God.
Led by Simon Holley
The Community Team oversees everything to do with adult, youth and children's groups in the church. We want to develop and maintain an excellent sense of God’s community on a mission throughout King’s Arms by our small and mid-sized group structure. We want every member of King’s Arms to feel able to join and be included in a group that furthers their passion for Jesus and the church.
Led by Paul Johnson & Wendy Mann
The Develop Team is all about helping us grow and develop in our walk with God so that we can embrace all He’s calling us to be. We want to provide training programmes and materials that will challenge and stimulate us to grow. We also want to allow the Holy Spirit the space to remove blockages and obstacles to that growth. We’re passionate about having a church family which fulfills its potential in God.
Led by Phil Wilthew
The Send team is responsible for how King’s Arms serves and supports other churches, ministries and leaders in the UK and abroad, including those sent from within our own church family.
Led by Roydon Loveley
The Governance Team is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the church and King’s House including finance, legal, health & safety, communications, I.T., H.R. and building operations, maintenance and development.
