100 Hours of Prayer: 1st to 5th March

Periodically we gather as a church to pray together for extended periods of
time. 100 hours of prayer works by each hour being taken by an individual,
group of friends, or small groups heading to King's House for an hour or
more of prayer for 100 continuous hours. We are passionate about seeing God
move here in Bedford and we feel that 2011 will be a significant year for us
as a church. 100 hours of prayer gives us the opportunity to press into God
for all he has for King's Arms Church, Bedford and beyond. Any great move of
God is preceded by fervent prayers of the church.

Jonathan Edwards said in 1740; "It is God's will through His wonderful
grace, that the prayers of His saints should be one of the great principal
means of carrying on the designs of Christ's kingdom in the world. When God
has something very great to accomplish for His church, it is His will that
there should precede it the extraordinary prayers of His people; as is
manifest by Ezekiel 36:37. and it is revealed that, when God is about to
accomplish great things for His church, He will begin by remarkably pouring
out the spirit of grace and supplication (see Zechariah 12:10)."
