We believe that the biblical pattern of church leadership is an eldership team. We have 3 elders who form that team with one lead elder who helps to facilitate the team. The elders are accountable to the trustees of the King's Arms Trust for all financial and legal matters and the Newfrontiers apostolic (oversight) team for the spiritual life of the church. The elders lead the church with the help of the ministry team leaders (who oversee specific areas of church life) and the coaches (who oversee the smallgroups).
Simon has co-led the King’s Arms since 2002 and became lead elder in 2006. He is married to Caroline, and they have three children. Paul is an elder at the King’s Arms and is married to Emma. They have four children. He works part-time for King’s Arms and part-time for Newfrontiers running the Frontier Project, which is a year’s programme of training and theological teaching based in local churches. Roydon is a church Trustee and has led several housegroups in King's Arms, becoming an elder in 2006. He has recently retired from a local engineering company and has two children and four grandchildren. Mike Milner works part time for King's Arms overseeing training and helping new people find their place in church. He sits in regularly on the eldership team and he and his wife Jennifer have two children.
