We meet at 10:30am and 6:30pm at King's House, 245 Ampthill Road, Bedford, MK42 9AZ The location is marked by the label King's House on the map below. Directions from Town Centre: Take the High Street over the Town Bridge and continue to St. John’s roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Ampthill Road. King’s House is off this road, towards the end. Follow the road past the hospital (A&E entrance) until you pass a Nissan, Ford and Honda garage on your left. Once you have passed these take the next right. There is a large ‘King’s House’ sign marking the entrance to the building. Once you have turned off Ampthill Road, continue straight and take the first left towards the large glass building with green framing. You will find the main entrance to the offices at the front of the building. (for directions from outside of Bedford visit Google Maps ) Bus services: There is now an hourly service for the park and ride down Ampthill Road on a Sunday. The bus leaves at the stop in River Street (near Dragons) at 9.54 and arrives in Ampthill Road at about 10.05. Going into town after the meeting the bus leaves Park and Ride at Elstow at 10 minutes past the hour: 12.10, 13.10 and 14.10, it will arrive at the stop outside King's House shortly after these times. Directions from Bedford Railway Station: Turn right out of the train station and follow the road to the end, where there is a roundabout. Take the road to the left (1st exit), passing Queen’s Park bridge on the right. At the next roundabout, continue ahead (3rd exit) onto Prebend Street. Follow the road over the river to the end where you’ll get to some traffic lights. Line up in the middle lane. At the junction turn right on to Cauldwell Street and stay in the left hand lane. Turn left at the next traffic lights on to Britannia Road. You will pass the hospital to your right. Follow the road to the end and at the traffic lights, turn right onto Ampthill Road. King’s House is off this road, towards the end. Follow the road past the hospital until you pass a Nissan, Ford and Honda garage on your left. Once you have passed these take the next right. There is a large ‘King’s House’ sign marking the entrance to the building.
