***Next Alpha Course will start in the Summer of 2010**** 
Alpha is course for those who are looking to find out more about the Christian faith. It’s fun, there’s food and it’s a great way to meet new people! It meets once a week for nine weeks, with one weekend together during the course. A typical meeting will start with everyone enjoying a meal together. This is then followed by a talk concerning some aspect of what it means to be a Christian. The remainder of the time is then spent in small groups, discussing issues arising from the talk, or any other queries that you may have. Who is Alpha For? Alpha is for everyone! The course is particularly suitable for: - People interested in investigating the claims of Christianity
- Newcomers to the church
- New Christians, old or young
- Those who wish to 'brush up' on the basics
The course is centred around a series of talks, looking at such topics as: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I be sure? Why and how should I read the Bible? Why and how should I pray? What about the Holy Spirit? Does God heal today? What about the Church? After each talk there is ample opportunity to discuss any issues or questions that you might have. This takes place in small groups, giving people an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn together. Is your burning issue not shown on the list?  DON'T WORRY. Alpha is a place where all questions are valid. If there is no talk on an area that concerns you, there will still be time and space to discuss it. Where Can I Go on an Alpha Course?
