It's hard to get to know people in a crowd. That's why we have smallgroups - groups of 6-10 people that meet at least once a week usually on a weeknight. These groups are the main way we care for one another as church family and encourage one another on in the Christian life. The groups should be about more than just a meeting as we seek to ‘do life’ together and also build genuine relationships with our friends who are not part of the church family.
If you are thinking of getting involved in the King’s Arms, then a smallgroup is the place to start. We have smallgroups for adults (including a mixture of couples and singles), one for students, and Innovation is our youth group (up to the age of 18). Our groups are made up of people from all walks of life and all stages of spiritual journey - from new believers to 20-year Christians. We even have a number who have not yet made the commitment to follow Christ but are open to learn and love being around a small group of people who are sincerely seeking after God. However, if this is you then you may consider doing an Alpha course first. To find out more about adult smallgroups, contact the church offices or the welcome team and we can give you more information about which groups meet in your area. You can also sign up on any Sunday at the welcome desk in the foyer. We have more than 25 groups meeting across town plus several in the north Bedfordshire (Sharnbrook) area.
