In his letter to the Colossians, Paul speaks so well of the church at Colossae that one is left thinking they must have been the perfect picture of Christianity. It is only as the letter progresses that Paul reveals how imperfect some of their behaviour has been. Just like Paul, God has gifted us with people in our lives and the ability to see them as He does. We have the same choice Paul had: dwell on their shortcomings or see them through God's eyes and thank Him for his wonderful gifts.
