Prayer Term

God is doing something new across our land and we want to be part of it! We're stepping into 2026 with a term of Prayer, kicking off with our usual 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting.

From January until April, we’ll be setting aside many of our regular church activities and events to make space to wholeheartedly seek God together.

Our usual Group cycle will also look a little different, as Groups become prayer-focused Groups designed to create more opportunities to pray within our smaller communities. After Easter, we’ll relaunch Groups with some exciting new changes — so watch this space for more details!

Scroll down to see information about our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, some more information about our Prayer Term, and some FAQs.

Prayer Term FAQs

Q: How will the normal rhythm of church life be different this term?
Our Sunday meeting rhythm remains unchanged, but we will be looking to make more space during our meetings to devote to prayer. However, many of our internal Groups and church events will pause or look different to allow us to keep prayer as our main priority this term.

Our outreach-focused ministries such as Playhouse, The Well, Alpha, FNM and Re-Track will continue to serve the community as normal during this term.

Q: What will happen to Groups?
Our usual Group Life format will take a pause for this term, and instead we will have Prayer groups available to join to create plenty of opportunities for everyone to connect in smaller settings and pray together. The goal is simply to connect with God and seek His presence together.

Q: What will these Prayer groups look like?
The Prayer groups will meet fives times during this term to spur one another on in prayer and we would love everyone to join one!

They will take a variety of forms; meeting at different times and places and may include: contemplative prayer, praying in the Spirit, Scripture-focused prayer, laying hands on one another, prayer walks, worship and warfare.

Q: How do I sign up to a Prayer group?
During our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting in January (3rd-23rd January), Prayer groups will be open for sign-up. We’ll provide more information on how to join these groups nearer the time.
