The Christmas story is the greatest story ever told. It's the story about a king who leaves his throne to go on a rescue mission to save those he loves by descending into the world and embracing humanity.
A hero born in a stable. Emmanuel. God with us.
This is a story about a love that never gives up, where the rescuer pays the ultimate price to bring hope and healing to all mankind. Jesus chose to take on the blame for our wrongs, and through his sacrifice, he offers us life and forgiveness. As we celebrate another Christmas, we are also remembering and honouring Jesus. The Light that shines in the darkness to bring hope, peace, joy and ultimately, acceptance into God's family for those who seek it. The Christmas Story is a powerful narrative of sacrifice, redemption and love. And, the best thing about this story is that it's true.
We would love to invite you to join us at any of our special Christmas meetings this season as we unpack this.
