Serving together is an essential part of living like Jesus, and it’s one of the joys of belonging in family.
We don’t need to be perfect before we get serving; serving helps us grow and develop, making friends along the way. Our serving teams are fun and friendly – and full of variety.
Impart to the next generations all that God has put in them; we are raising a generation that can change the world for God.
Lead and create a context for the gathered community in connecting with God through music.
Help to create a friendly environment; looking out for new people and connecting them with others; particularly our Belong Team. They are passionate about hearing from the Holy Spirit whilst meeting new people.
Serves our Sunday meetings and events with visuals for worship and slides for preaching and teaching. It is a great team to get involved with for those that are more techie- minded.
Seek to connect with, and love, the families in our community whilst providing activities for children aged 0-4. An opportunity to meet many people from the surrounding area who do not normally attend church.
We run various events throughout the year and this team helps facilitate this serving our delegates who travel from the UK and abroad. Leading or joining teams for refreshments, floor and set up, visuals, parking, registration and info point.
Provide one-off prayer for those responding to the Sunday message, as well as those wanting prayer for breakthrough in their circumstances, physically, practically and emotionally.
King’s Kids Support (Children with extra needs)
One-to-one support with individual children who require extra attention. Helping children engage and get the best out of our sessions.
Impart to the next generations all that God has put in them; having fun with the children doing life with God through our Sunday morning Kid’s Programme.
Help connect new and visiting families into the various Kids programmes by providing a friendly welcome and assisting with online signup.
Have a passion to help new people connect into the church family. They’re based in the Welcome Lounge, and take time to chat and get to know new people and help them find ways to become part of the family here at King’s Arms.
Recognise that we were made to worship God, and facilitate this corporately on a Sunday, helping people encounter God’s presence. They work creatively with audio whilst improving technical skills in the context of mixing worship music.
