Getting the
right
support...
At King’s Arms we want to take care of each other and help each other through life’s challenges. We have a number of different ways you can find support and encouragement, whatever the challenge you are facing. Our Pastoral Team is made up of staff members, including some trained counsellors, and lots of faithful volunteers.

One-Anothering
Our vision is that we should care for each other as a family. This looks like praying for one another and checking in with each other. We also have pastoral groups such as our ‘Living through long-term illness' support group which are specifically run to support each other through tough challenges and seasons of life.
Prayer
Whatever you are going through, we would love to pray with you. Every Sunday, we have a ministry team available at the end of each meeting. Please do come along and ask for prayer.

Pastoral Check-Ins
We want to create opportunities for people to get some in-person support and regularly offer Pastoral Check-Ins where you can grab a coffee and have a catch-up with a member of the Pastoral Team.
Home Visits
Our aim is to foster a sense of belonging for those in our church family who are unable to participate with in-person services and activities due to life circumstances making this difficult. Through our home visits we would like to offer prayer, encouragement and practical help where possible.

Sozo
Sozo is a Greek word meaning to save, heal, deliver and preserve. Sozo is a one-off session to help you move past any hurts that prevent you from going deeper with God. It aims to connect you with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
Support for Big Life Events
We all go through big events in life and sometimes the positive ones can be just as overwhelming as the sad ones. Whether it’s work, relationships, sickness, births or bereavements, we were designed to walk through life in community. God calls us to be a family and share each other’s highs and lows and we are here to support you.

Living In Freedom | Mental Health and Well-Being
Living in Freedom is a space for all to come and experience breakthrough and healing, growing in the truth that we are deeply loved by God. Inspired by Galations 5:1 “it is for freedom that Christ has set us free”, we gather together in person each term to receive teaching and prayer, to explore practical tools and build a foundation of faith that leads us into the freedom that Christ has won for us. Check out our events page for details on upcoming events.
Reconciled | Cultural Diversity
We host termly discussions and events through our Reconciled evening. These are open to all as we acknowledge and learn how to minimise racial tension to promote health ways to harness diversity within our community.
We also run an annual 'Still I Rise' course to help heal the deep hurts faced by ethnic minorities and encourage them to embrace their God-given identity.
Keep an eye on our events page for dates.
