Getting the
right
support...
At King’s Arms we want to take care of each other and help each other through life’s challenges. We have a number of different ways you can find support and encouragement, whatever the challenge you are facing. Our Pastoral Team is made up of staff members, including some trained counsellors, and lots of faithful volunteers.

One-anothering
Our vision is that we should care for each other as a family. This looks like praying for one another and checking in with each other. We also have pastoral groups such as our ‘Living through long-term illness' support group and ‘Still I Rise’ (look out on our events page for dates) which are specifically run to support each other through tough challenges and seasons of life.
Prayer
Whatever you are going through, we would love to pray with you. Every Sunday, we have a ministry team available at the end of each meeting. Please do come along and ask for prayer. We also have a Prayer Request Form that you can fill out.

Pastoral Check Ins
We want to create opportunities for people to get some in-person support and regularly offer Pastoral Check-Ins where you can grab a coffee and have a catch-up with a member of the Pastoral Team. You can book a slot here
Sozo
Sozo is a Greek word meaning to save, heal, deliver and preserve. Sozo is a one-off session to help you move past any hurts that prevent you from going deeper with God. It aims to connect you with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. You can book a Sozo here

Support for Big Life Events
We all go through big events in life and sometimes the positive ones can be just as overwhelming as the sad ones. Whether it’s work, relationships, sickness, births or bereavements, we were designed to walk through life in community. God calls us to be a family and share each other’s highs and lows and we are here to support you. Read more about support surrounding life events here
Mental Health and Well-Being
We want to provide a safe space for those who are struggling with their mental health, and we provide termly online gatherings where we explore a specific mental health topic. These meetings are an opportunity to receive teaching, practical tools and prayer as we learn to partner with God in our mental health journey. Keep a look out on our events page for dates.

Cultural Diversity
We have a termly ‘Snapshots’ event for people of all backgrounds to celebrate and learn more about what it is like to navigate life as an ethnic minority in the UK. We also run an annual ‘Still I Rise’ course which is designed to tend to the deep hurts that ethnic minorities experience and encourage them to walk in their God-given identity. Keep a look out on our events page for dates.
