Socially distanced picnic
We are looking for ways to serve and care for the most vulnerable in our church family, and as warmer weather approaches, it gives us the opportunity to do some special events. We are planning three outdoor picnics that will adhere to strict COVID protocols which are designed to facilitate some social and community time for the medically vulnerable, or those needing extra clear COVID security when in a public gathering.
We hope these events will facilitate fun, connection or re-connection. We want to serve anyone who would consider themselves part of needing these protocols in place to meet socially. For some, it could be their first time to return to King’s House since 2020 due to their protection requirements. We also welcome anyone who would like to attend within these requirements. Safe, social, and hopefully sunny!
For this particular event we will just be having drinks and cakes. All refreshments will be provided, but please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
We will be outside in our garden area, so please feel free to bring a blanket along with you. We can provide chairs for anyone who would like one.
Let’s pray for sunshine and hope to see you there!
FUTURE PICNIC DATES: Mon 4th July, 4pm
