Update on King's Playhouse:
We’re pleased to share that King’s Playhouse relaunched in June but with some changes. Before opening this group up again to our wider community, we’ll be starting off by running sessions for families who are currently part of King’s Arms Church to allow our team to settle in and to initially invest in a smaller number of families.
We understand that this might be disappointing news but want to thank you for bearing with us during this transition phase.
We're working towards opening our doors more widely again, so please do watch this space.
About King's Playhouse
King’s Playhouse runs on Wednesdays from 10-11:30, term time only.
We want to provide a safe and fun environment for children (ages 0 - 4) to play, and a chance for adults to connect and support each other.
Our lovely volunteers are all DBS checked and are here to help, but parents and carers are responsible for looking after their children during the group.
Do we need to book?
We are free for your first visit and then ask for £2 per family (1 adult and any number of children) to help cover snacks and craft activities. We also ask for £1 per additional adult.
Please email us if this will be difficult, we do not want cost to be a barrier to meeting new friends!
There is no need to book. We operate on a first come basis, and we’re keen to welcome as many families as we can.
What to Expect
We have a lovely large room full of fun toys. Each week we have free play, a craft and a song time at the end. We also have occasional small parties to mark special events.
A light snack to eat is provided for the children, whilst parents can enjoy a hot drink and nice biscuits.
